The Spring 2012 trends I'm feeling:
-- Sweet sorbet pastels
-- Floaty fabrics-- chiffons & silks
-- Washed white cottons in layers
-- Feminine dresses with menswear accessories

-- Floral & art deco patterns
-- Roaring twenties silhouettes
-- Polka Dots
-- Tangerine
The Spring 2012 trends I just don't get:
--Neons...why!?...I hated 'em the first time around in the '80s, and I hate 'em now. They just are not flattering nor are they natural. Yick!
--Peplums...why would you want your hips & backside to look bigger?
What trends are you wanting to try this spring & what are you gonna give a miss?

I know it's not "high fashion" but J Crew spring has been ridiculously inspiring for me lately. Glad to see it made the cut.
ReplyDeleteI love what they are showing at J Crew-- really classic designs in these sweet ice creamy shades!
DeleteI'm not really digging neons either, but I do like it as a purse. Maybe it's just growing on me (or wearing down my retinas) lol :)
ReplyDeleteI actually disagree with you on peplums! (well it depends which kind of course) If they are cinched at the waist and paired with a pencil skirt they can make your figure look all the more feminine and slender.
