For those of you unfamiliar with the art form, cinemagraphs are still photographs in which a minor and repeated movement occurs. The action tends to be smooth, seamless, and often artistic-- none of the jerky "jump-to-the-first-motion" actions that characterize standard GIFs. Here are some of the prettiest I've found.

Apparently they can be achieved using Photoshop and actually aren't that hard to do-- when I have a spare afternoon, I'm going to give it a shot. I found a great tutorial here, for those of you who have Adobe. If you do give it a whirl, please, please let me know how it goes &/or do a post how to. I truly am curious!!
One more for the road~*
