Random Wednesday Web Finds~*

If yer looking for some time wasters, you've come to the right place.

Normally I try to have a theme to these things, even if it is only understandable to me lol.  Alas, no such contrivance today.  Here is a random handful of cool/funny/awesome things I've come across lately~*

LOL. Just...LOL...and then do it again.  Too funny.

Okay, we've had a good laugh.  Now lets be awed.  Space & the sea have a lot in common in my mind.  The immense-ness of them.  The breathtaking beauty.  The things we have yet to discover.  Makes me feel small, in a good way.  I like knowing there are things unknown~*

Speaking of philosophy...the other day I was making a reference in class & I mentioned The Tao of Pooh.  And my students looked at me very oddly.  I thought everyone knew about it.  Everyone should.  Its cute & its philosophical & it makes you think in a soft & gentle sort of way.  The link is to a quotes page, but there is also a full audio version on youtube.  Its a good way to introduce young people {high school or college age} to eastern Taoist philosophy~*

Quick add.  This song came on my iHeart Radio-- I had forgotten how entertaining it was...so I'm sharing~*

  2. I came across your blog via a link at Olive & Ivy and Orion immediately caught my eye. Then I saw the Tao of Pooh and a coffee giveaway and felt I should follow!

  6. Ha! I chuckled at a few of those signs! I used the Tao of Pooh in a high school essay of a book that changed my life. I can't even remember it. So much for life changing...
