Its Friday & That Means Five Among Friends!

The beautiful, fun & downright delightful Kate of Just Pirouette and Carry On came up with this Friday's Five Among Friends!

Without further ado, here are Kate's questions & my answers & a good deal of fun t'boot~*

1. If you were going to start you own company, what would it be? 

I think I'd rather live in a refrigerator box than start my own company.  Waaaayyyy too much pressure.  Our personal bills are enough to worry about, I don't want to be responsible for a company's bills too.  I like to do my job & get paid for it & everything else is somebody else's problem.

2. Who is the craziest person in your life? 

Me.  Followed closely by Thing 3.  She's a nutter.

On second thought, all of the Things are nutters...  

3. What would the title of your autobiography be? Explain why....?

I'll Have to Check With the Penguins.

I tend to think very fast and about multiple things at the same time.  I jump from thought to thought-- and if I'm particularly busy headed I'll even switch conversations mid sentence or just randomly say something completely unrelated to whatever is happening.  When I was in grad school, my professor and mentor asked me how I managed to keep things straight and I responded without thinking that the penguins in my head were responsible for my brain's filing system.  And it stuck.  If ever I get particularly weird, my friends and family blame the penguins.  

4. What do you lie about? 

My weight.  But don't feel badly, I lie to myself about my weight too.  I think I'm in denial.  

5. What are you obsessed with right now? 

I am between obsessions at the moment.  I was obsessed with redoing the house, but that is mostly done now.  In another month I'll be obsessed with my classes.  But this is my down time~*
