The other day was the best husband's birthday. He had to teach, but was off from the library so he was able to sneak home and play some computer games before the kids & I got in. Sometimes a little alone time is the best present, you know?
Then cake {German chocolate & spice swirl with blue apple cider frosting from Thing 1-- delicious} & presents & lots of off key singing of birthday songs. A good day for a good man celebrating the successful completion of another good year.
