Monday, Monday

It started out the day pouring rain with winds that brought down some tree branches painfully close to our cars, and it turned in to a beautiful warm spring day...which is utterly wrong given that it should be snowing.
I know most folks would say we were lucky.  But I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, where it doesn't snow {except one memorable winter when I was a child, and even that was the scantest of dustings} &  I adore the snow-- I adore it snowing-- it's magical, & I miss it.

It looks like, for all my wishing, we aren't going to have any sort of typical winter this year.  We haven't broken any record highs or anything {which is good, as it means that this odd snowless winter is just a fluke and not a shadow of winters to come}, but it is decidedly not what I am used to, or want.  Ah well, there is always next year for our Tennessee Mountain winter. In the meantime, we'll pack up the parkas & look on toward spring~*

  1. Same here! I"m from New York, and we've barely had any snow this winter.

  2. Isn't it odd??? I've been in New York during the winter-- it is beautiful {normally lol}!

  3. Hi~ Thanks for stopping by my little corner yesterday! I've been lurking around your blog and I'm really loving what I'm seeing - especially that outfit your wearing today!

Come to CT - we have 5" that's melting fast.... first snow since our freak storm in October.

    1. Crazy! It sounds like the Pacific Northwest is stealing all our snow {I figure CT is usually wallowing in snow this time o'year} I love your blog-- thanks so much for visiting!!

Thank you for taking the time to comment! It is most appreciated~*
