Liebster Blog Award





I am tickled purple {which is so much better than pink} to announce that I have been honoured with a Liebster Blog Award!  
I was given the award by the wonderful JoKnows from Woman in Real Life : The Art of the Art of the Everyday.  Her blog is just wonderful-- fantastic vegan recipes served with a generous slice of life {and of course, a cup of tea}.
A stay-at-home Mom {after 14 years at the same job}, JoKnows blogs about her family, a new found love of thrifting, finding beauty in the every day, and of course, gorgeous, healthy food.  Check out her blog, you will be so glad you did!

The Liebster Blog Award

Liebster is a German word meaning "dearest." The Liebster Blog Award is given to blogs with less than 200 followers, and recognizes the blog author's creative writing and dedication. It also helps to bring blog owners together to exchange ideas and information.

My Duties

As a Liebster Award recipient, it is my honour to pass the award along to five fabulous bloggers. It was no easy task to select them, because there are so many wonderful blogs that I love to read. But, these are some of the ones that I turn to most often for my daily dose of inspiration.

Who Do You Love?

There are so many blogs out there that I truly enjoy-- & I want to thank all of you bloggers for letting us {your fans} peek into your lives from cyberspace!  I do have some absolute must reads-- blogs that inspire me-- and of course Woman in Real Life is among them.  My other Liebsters are: 


Rachael at Sanderson Smith Story is a mother, partner & general dynamo.  Her blog chronicles the adventures of her family-- including their 3 legged dog {Gizzy}, bunny rabbit {Benjy} & a whole cast of family & friends that float in & out as they make their way through life.  I just adore her spirit & her ability to cram 3 million things into one weekend {not to mention her recipes} -- Google Friend her so you won't miss out! 



Ruthie of My Trash and Treasure is another favorite o'mine.  She uses her blog to document her life with her husband {in the Army} and two adorable kiddos as they move around, exploring & generally enjoying life {and if they aren't the cutest family ever, then I don't know cute}.  Her stories about her children {and a fish called Elephant} are sure to make you smile-- and her occasional DIY & recipe are sure to inspire.  You definitely won't be sorry you joined her growing fan base!



Oh my gosh, what can be said about the indomitable Maggie B of Finding Myself?  Honest?  Oh yeah-- she calls life like she sees it.   Soul searching?  Undoubtedly-- her quest for happiness & self fulfillment are an inspiration.   Can she cook?  Of course, & her food explorations are drool worthy.  Crafty?  Yup, that too-- & she knits to boot~*  For a clever blog, wittily written & with breathtaking honesty & sincerity, Maggie B simply can not be beat.  


A shift from architect to stay-at-home Mom brought Mama Smith to the blogosphere, & blog readers like me have definitely benefited from her arrival!  First off, her photos are beyond gorgeous-- & seeing life through her lens is always a treat.  And her view of life is what makes her blog so wonderful-- she sees everything as only a true artist {or former architect I 'spose} can.  Oh, and then there are these and these...oh so very yum.  Whip 'em up then settle in to catch up on her blog!



And last, but definitely not least, there is Jan of Janmloves.  She is a too cute for words 24 year old exploring southern California-- and she takes us along for her wild ride.  Focusing on fashion & fun, JanMLoves is just a sweet good time {and of course, there are shoes...lots & lots of shoes~*}.
