Ten Treasure Tuesday~*

Rain, rain go away!

There has been a temporary reprieve in the storm {very temporary, it is due to start thundering again soon & continue through tomorrow...sigh}. I must admit the thunder & lightning are fun {& very pretty & dramatic}-- but it is bittersweet.  We had sort of grown accustomed to the idea of a sweet spring, & now all the blossoms are blowing in the wind.  Still, it is great weather for getting cozy {not so much for taking photos}.  We picked up dinner to go before picking up Thing 2 at our favorite Middle eastern place {I looooovvvveeee the baba ghanoush & the hummus & the fresh pita OH & the turkish coffee...sooooo yummy}.  Now we are sitting & relaxing & watching the clouds roll in~*

With all the rain I've been thinking about rainbows & April showers bringing May flowers...& Etsy is always eager to oblige my thematic whims!

Cloud mobile ; Rainbow floral crochet cushion ; Rainbow glass chimes ; Vintage 1940s umbrella ; Rainbow tree magnets
Birdie vases ; Umbrella floral door wreath ; Colored flowers in galoshes vase ; rainbow quilt ; Rain cloud embroidery

What are your favorite rainy day activities?

  6. Isn't it strange that spring is such a mixture of sunshine and rain? Annoyingly we're having more of the rain here at the moment (booooo!), it makes the school holidays expensive.Rx
